The purchase price is £690 plus VAT. The annual hosting and service charge is £160 plus VAT.
The website is designed as a school management tool. It stores and manages key documents and enables highly efficient communication. It has the features of a secure intranet site. Only documents relevant to your user level are visible, others remain confidential. Data is accessible from any location with appropriate internet services. Working from home or elsewhere is easy and efficient. Senior managers, teachers, governors, parents and others have instant access to the information they need. Documents are automatically emailed to recipients on the relevant distribution list, reducing the cost of communication and increasing its reliability. Parents and the public always have access to required policies, helping meet statutory requirements.
The features include:
- a secure database and defined user access levels (administrator, headteacher, senior manager, middle manager, teacher, assistant, governor, parent, pupils, webmaster, public);
- a welcome page with facilities to edit and change the welcome title and welcome message;
- an about us page that has contact details and a link to a map together with the facilities to edit and change the contact details;
- a mission statement page with facilities to edit and change the mission title and message;
- a news and events page, with the facility to upload all newsletters and letters to parents formatted in Word or in portable document format (PDF) and to define the user access rites so that confidentiality can be retained if required;
- a school policies page, with the facility to upload all final copy, draft and working copy, planning copy documents and policies etc formatted in Word or in portable document format (PDF) and to define the user access rites so that confidentiality can be retained if required;

Within the purchase price:
- setting up the website template and tailoring to requirements (subject to design constraints);

Additional charges:
- there are no additional charges in the first year;
- in the second and subsequent years, an annual hosting and service charge is made (this is necessary if the website is to continue in use); includes technical and Level 1 document support.
