PBM Training and Consultancy: Continuous Professional Development
PBM Training and Consultancy support school improvement by providing a comprehensive range of continuous professional development courses for senior leaders, teacher’s, governors and support staff. All training is provided by expert tutors to a guaranteed high standard.
PBM's comprehensive range of CPD courses focus on developing the skills of the individual. We have a range of courses which focus on aspects of effective self evaluation, for example; lesson observation training, work sampling courses, progress tracking, data handling and RAISE online, assessment for learning and APP. Other CPD courses focus on developing effective SEF writing skills, reviewing the new inspection framework, and inspection preparation, including section 48 preparation.
In addition to courses focusing on school self-evaluation systems, PBM provide a wide range of courses that are non curriculum based, for example safeguarding, Safer recruitment, The Vetting and Barring Scheme, grief and bereavement counselling, appraisal skills, communication skills, a series of developmental mentoring courses, and conflict management courses.
Continued professional development courses are delivered at the Company’s training venue; Heath House Conference Centre in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, or as an in-school training event. Courses are suitable for INSET days or as training for the cluster.
