The data collation service provides cost-effective support. Data analysis and progress tracking are time consuming and tie up valuable resources. The services alleviate this burden by having consultants complete this work for you, allowing key members of staff to focus on leading school developments.
The school sends the summative data (Word file, Excel, or hardcopy*). We assemble the spreadsheets, one for each year group. Once built, the spreadsheets are sent to the school and can be added to over time. Each spreadsheet allows you to explore individual and group progress in relation to prior attainment and national expectations in reading, writing and mathematics. Other subjects including science and information and communication technology can be added. The spreadsheets enable you to filter through the data quickly and follow a range of audit, evaluation and inspection trails. Data is entered using National Curriculum sub-levels (Level 2b, 2a etc). The sub-levels are automatically converted to point scores. Calculations are in point scores and in threshold percentages, with instant recalculation of relevant data as filtering proceeds. Training in the use of the spreadsheets and in data management can be provided.
