PBM training and consultancy specialise in educational training provision, educational consultancy, and school self-evaluation. We provide training and consultancy for: local authorities, school leadership teams, teaching staff, support staff and governors, in nursery, infant, primary and secondary schools, FE’s, children’s centres, independent schools and special schools, nationwide.
PBM training and consultancy provide cost effective support for schools focusing on all issues related to school self-evaluation and the SEF. PBM also provide courses focusing on the creative curriculum, courses for small schools, plus, we provide support in specialist areas; safeguarding, mentoring and counselling. Educational consultancy and courses can either be provided as in-school training (INSET), as a cluster event, or at our training centre in Uttoxeter Staffordshire.
PBM consultants can provide tailored support and assistance with all aspects of school self evaluation and inspection preparation. The range of services is diverse; ranging from pre inspection audits, SEF checking or help with completing the SEF to year round support with self evaluation. Consultancy services also include school based training designed to assist all members of staff with particular aspects of self evaluation; for example lesson observation training, work sampling, data analysis and RAISE online or progress tracking.
PBM also provide training, consultancy and support within non curriculum areas such as safer recruitment, improving communication skills, leading a school through change, and strategies for coping with potentially difficult situations and people.
We also offer a wide range of educational training courses the majority of which are held at our own training venue: Heath House Training and Conference Centre in Uttoxeter Staffordshire.
The range of courses is diverse. Many courses are designed to support specific aspects of school improvement and school self evaluation. Within the range there are courses designed to help participants with; completing the SEF, lesson observations, inspection preparation, and inspection skills. We have courses focusing on the latest developments within education, for example; the creative curriculum, the new inspection framework, APP. New courses are developed and added regularly. All of our consultants and trainers are highly experienced, and experts within their field. The majority of educational consultants have had long teaching careers before becoming inspectors or SIPs. Others are experts from other fields, whose knowledge and expertise is relevant to education. In all cases, when booking training or consultancy, schools are welcome to request further information regarding the background and experience of the tutor.
